I know exactly what you wrote. It would have been reasonable if you didn't preface it with this sentence:

People shouldn't be allowed to get as many kids as they wish. You want to make it illegal for people to have as many kids as they want. How do you suppose to do that without sterilizing people after they have the "correct" number of children?
