In the first 20 picks?
No ofcourse not, therein lies the 20%. I think the route running thing wont be that difficult for him to grasp and honestly, if route running is a real huge problem for anyone playing WR then they shouldnt be WR's.

I mean christ, its the biggest part of your fucking job..

Dont know about one trick pony, excellent blocking skills and showed good speed and ball catching abilitys at the combine and his pro day, I think he is a victim of a heavy run offense at his school. I like NIck Toon for Chicago but only in the 2nd or 3rd round.

Floyd to me isnt a head case, no more than any other 1st rounder. He had minor brushes, nothing like Marcus Vick..
His route running will need work and can he get seperation any other way than just running by a guy?

Go young, get Wayne.
exactly what I dont want which is why it wont break my heart if we dont sign Jackson, Ill be happy if we do dont get me wrong but not sad if we dont. He's 29 and does have some baggage.

I would prefer Mario Williams.

You never know, Randy Moss made a career out of running 9 routes and fades.

How's his route running?

Seriously, Tampa and the Skins have tons of cap room. Good luck outbidding them on anybody.
Well i meant sign Mario Williams and draft a Hill or Floyd and sign a second tier WR like Garcon or Meachum.

Bucs, Bears, Redskins all look poised for a run at Vincent Jackson

Posted by Michael David Smith on March 12, 2012, 10:45 AM EDT
Getty Images With several wide receivers about to become unrestricted free agents, Vincent Jackson appears to be pulling ahead of the pack in the race to see which one of them can receive the most lucrative offer.
Three teams with plenty of money to spend — the Buccaneers, Bears and Redskins — all reportedly have identified Jackson as a high priority. That has to be wonderful news to Jackson and his agent, considering that the Buccaneers are $42.7 million under the salary cap, the Redskins are $31.1 million under and the Bears are $22.6 million under.
We noted yesterday that the Redskins are willing to break the bank for Jackson, Sean Jensen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports today that the Bears are serious suitors for Jackson but the Buccaneers have the inside track right now.
In other words, three teams with loads of salary cap space are going to try to out-bid each other. It’s good to be Vincent Jackson right now.
It’s also surprising the extent to which Jackson’s baggage doesn’t seem to be an issue. Jackson is 29 years old and already has seven seasons of wear and tear on his body? Doesn’t matter. Jackson was often an unhappy camper in San Diego? Doesn’t matter. Jackson was suspended three games in 2010 after his second drunk driving conviction? Doesn’t matter. Teams are so enamored with his 18.4 yards a catch and nine touchdowns last season that they’re willing to overlook those issues.
So Jackson is about to get paid. With free agency starting at 4 p.m. Eastern tomorrow, Jackson could be ready to sign a lucrative contract at 4:01.
The Redskins would be better off breaking the bank for Carl Nicks rather than V Jack.

Agreed but Dan Snyder is gonna want to make a big splash.. Just like he always does which is why I do not expect my Bears to land V-Jax.

You can say this every year about 80% of the WRs that come out of the draft..
In the first 20 picks?

Hill appears to be a one-trick pony, but I could be wrong.

Floyd is of course more complete, but a head case.

Not an easy choice.

I like Nick Toon myself. Ran a sub-4.4 in his pro day.

I'm still hoping they sign a decent FA WR and draft Floyd.
