I'm confused why everyone is talking about Tebow's 4-10 when He also ran for 38 yards and a touchdown. It's my understanding that His rushing yards would go into the QBR equation.

Rushing yards are factored in. Problem is when you suck so much at passing the football there is no reason why any QB rating system should say that Tebow was better than Aaron Rodgers last week.

Or ANY week for that matter.

that still doesnt mean he had a better game than someone with three times the stats.

QBR is a joke, even Alex Smith would tell you that.

it was skewed because the sample size was so small. And to point out, in a little over a quarters worth of work, he did produce two touch downs.

What they need to not include people in the discussion that dont attempt at least X number of passes. Like what they do in baseball when talking about batting avg leaders.

They also weight the stats in the fourth quarter with more value.

So its the Chicago Bears fans version of QB rating, really, where the backup QB is always better than the starter.

Tim Tebow is a winner. Whether you like it or not, that fact isn't going to change.

Because he won in college? Plenty of QBs won in college and flamed out in the NFL.

You can correct me if I'm wrong, but none of those QBs were Tim Tebow. No one knows the future but the way the Broncos entire team reacted when Tebow was put in was impressive, to say the least.

So he may be a winner. Then again, his bad mechanics and reckless style make prevent him from being a winner.

I think Beck's performance today should put him with a great chance to outperform Rodgers in QBR this week.

He doesn't need super humans like Jordy Nelson to turn modest gains into huge plays.

You do have a point there...Jordy Nelson is a top 5 receiver in the NFL.

Well, I wouldn't go there...Athlete is a pretty strong term, considering he's white.

More evidence that QBR sux:

Week 6 passer rating: 119.6
NFL rank: 1
Week 6 QBR: 91.9
NFL rank: 2
Comment: Rodgers received his second-highest QBR of the season even though the Packers went scoreless in the second half. His three touchdown passes in the second quarter established a lead the St. Louis Rams never threatened. If you want to know why the Atlanta Falcons' Matt Ryan (92.5) finished higher despite a 163-yard day: ESPN analytics reports Ryan received significant credit for two passes into the end zone that resulted in pass interference, giving the Falcons first-and-goal on each occasion. Ryan also completed all three of his third-down passes in the fourth quarter. That's the explanation I received. http://espn.go.com/blog/nfcnorth
