Default Book Suggestions
I want to get my brother a good read for his birthday or Christmas. What are the truly good books on football. The ones with interesting angles and subject matter. What are the football equivalents of Moneyball?

Thanks for any ideas.

The Rule Book.
Did they put out a re-issue since all the rules have changed this year?

The Blind Side was a good book, and written by the same author.

Tailgating, Sacks, and Salary Caps: How the NFL Became the Most Successful Sports League in History by Knox

NFL Unplugged: The Brutal, Brilliant World of Professional Football by Gargano

A few seconds of panic : a 5-foot-8, 170-pound, 43-year-old sportswriter plays in the NFL by Fatsis

The GM : the inside story of a dream job and the nightmares that go with it by Callahan

The Lombardi book is supposed to be a really good book even if you hate the packers.

Boots on the Ground by Dusk (The Pat Tillman Story) and Blind Side are good books.
