Its sick! The mug shot alone is disturbing but what I find funny is how hush hush this was. This happened 3 weeks ago and I dont remember reading anything about it until I came across a thread on the Chicagobears.com message boards.

Sick dude.. Thats for sure.

Because he works for ESPN, and is the son of a 'famous' sports person?

Tony Dungy's kid commits suicide, it's all over the place.

ESPN is the media. Why would they want to report on this? And with Dungy that was during the season when they were going for the super bowl, a little more relevant than a guy probably best known for clips being used in beer commercials now.

Now for something that's funny, http://deadspin.com/5593631/joakim-n...yline=true&s=i

ESPN might not want to (though they should)... but I'd think there'd be some noise from the other media venues.

as far as the thread topic, i did find this comment to be amusing:

Well this explains why his fantasy power rankings had Julius Heffernan, RB/West Hartford Elementary, just behind Chris Johnson

Why on earth would he go in there himself anyways? You'd have to know at the very least that the person working there would be saying, "Guess who came into the store today!?!?!?!"

e$*n, the worldwide leader of really important news flying under the radar.

Especially if it involves a current or former worker.

Well yeah but when that Baseball analysts little mistress went nuts and showed up at the house and the wife had to call that police, that was everywhere in the media.

This to me, is bigger more eye opening news.

Yeah, but he was also the GM for the Mets at one time, so there was interest for the NY media to pick up on it along with the whole mistress angle. It's a story that would sell.
