Default Delhomme to start
*shock and awe*

Browns head coach Eric Mangini has stated that the starting quarterback job is Jake Delhomme's to lose, according to Pro Football Talk. "It's really Jake's job to lose, and he did a great job during OTAs," Mangini said. "I couldn't have been happier with him, not just in terms of the way he learned the information but the way he ran the offense."

Just last week, Mangini said that both Delhomme and Seneca Wallace would be given a shot to start, but he's apparently changed his mind. This shouldn't come as a shock, as Delhomme was expected to win the gig all along. Wallace may still be involved in a few specialty plays to take advantage of his athleticism, but Delhomme should get the vast majority of the snaps.

The other guy in my department (yes, its just the two of us) is one such Cleveland sports fan, and I assure you that it does blow....it blows out-loud in seven languages and in technicolor.
