Yea

Colts were "super bowl bound"

Bears were "maybe NFC championship bound"

Im not to sure if the realistic fans actually thought the Colts were going to the SB with the way they got worked the last couple games.

They also know they have one of the biggest big game chokers in the league behind their center.

Edgerrin James can't win the big game, I agree

Dome teams don't win. That's reality.

St. Louis in 2000 was the exception that proves the rule.

need further proof:

Current dome teams:
Minnesota
Atlanta
Detroit
New Orleans (sort of)
Indianapolis
St. Louis

Not much winning in those franchises history.

Seattle was in a dome for 26 years and never won shit, moved out of a dome and 2 years later is hosting the NFC Championship game.

Moral of the story: Don't play in domes.

I also heard the Red Sox don't win World Series championships.

My memory tells me that the Rams won one super bowl (which you admitted) and lost the other by a last second field goal.

I think that's a case of misleading stats. The number of dome teams vs. the number of non dome teams puts the dome teams at a statistical disadvantage immediately.

It is true that the Rams are the only team to play in a dome to have won the SuperBowl. I take exception to the "non-winning franchise" comment.

I'm talking playoff wins, of course.

Rams, you may remember, were my exception.

Bottom line: Teams that play outdoors are better equipped to win in the playoffs than teams that don't. My opinion only.

Oh and pennstpat, no Phillie fan should ever talk shit about the World Series. Even in good humor.
