No shock really. Good for him, he deserved it. What a great season. |

I dont think Seattle would have had "a lot of problems." Our O-Line can open up holes for anyone with talent to run through. Alexander sure as hell made us better, but I dont think we would have been 3-13 or 4-12 without him. Maybe instead of 13-3, we would have been 11-5 or 10-6 and still win our division. But I guess we wont know that until he's gone...

For me it depends on what the award means. If it's statistically best season in the NFL, Shaun Alexander is a great choice and my #1. If it's most valuable to his team, Shaun Alexander is a good choice, but my #2. My boy Tom Brady should have won it in that case. Simply put, we are 3-13 without him. Done deal. But since I believe it to be based on stats, Alexander is the choice, and rightfully so.

seattle plays in the nfc west, without alexander they still win the division without a doubt. without manning, the colts stink. If the award was handed out souly by the who is the MOST VALUABLE PLAYER to their team it would have to be Brady. imo |

Comes to down to stats and with Alexander getting into the endzone 28 times this season, its his award. |
