Damn i forgot all about it being 10.10.10 and 10.10am and 10secs etc! I was in Amsterdam, went friday til sunday for the tori gig then stayed on - i never ever ever go abroad (too scaredy!) so it was kinda the trip of a lifetime to stay and look round (that sounds lame.. but well!). I took a lot of piccies, i'll have to look and see if any were taken at 10.10am! i doubt it with my luck

Nothing particularly photogenic but I recorded the moment anyway - having a bubble bath in a rented apartment in Amsterdam, a sunny day was beckoning from the balcony

(OK I stacked up some bubbles on the side of the bath there but it was the only way to get them in to shot and give depth and stuff. Without bubbles it looked like I was sitting in a cupboard

)

I checked my pics from my sunday in amsterdam, and the file info on this one (before i now shrink it and alter that!) says it was taken on 10.10.10 at 10.10am (and 40 seconds though, pity it's not "10"!). I forgot all about it being 10.10.10 while i was away though!

We were about to take the ferry back across the water (it was free!)

Did anyone do anything fun yesterday?

I spent the day soaking in the simple joys of spending it with my family. I even played in the sandbox, got dirty, rolled around in the grass down hills, laid in the front yard watching clouds go by. It was good for the soul.

We spent the afternoon at my sister's eating turkey. And I had the chance to try something I've wanted to try for a while ... this is a 16-image composite shot at f/1.8.

16 images is a lot, i think the most I've ever done is 4-5.
