I'm being offered for free this previous camera from the friend of a, they said their partner couldn't use it and it's been seated on a corner for years so they don't actually know if it is effective or not, but they believed I would prefer to give it a chance (super good of these, I have never actually met them!) http://www.canon.co.uk/for_home/prod..._slr/eos_300d/ I understand it's old, about 2003, but despite the fact that it's old, can you men say it's still worthwhile? I suggest in the long term i wish to purchase the canon G12 (been seeking it because it was the G9 but i can just never manage it, oftimes be on the G15 by the full time i get one!), but i believed even when this free SLR is fairly garbage ( compared to newer versions) or destroyed i can still use it throughout the house and yard to tell myself all of the right material i used to understand in my teens but have largely forgotten today - but ostensibly yes i might just re reach grips with how exactly to completely use an SLR by hand and undertake transforming raw (never had any camera that took in raw). But have some of you ever endured this camera? Would be the specifications so old that it generally does not compare well to the two compacts i've now the canon SX110) and (the canon A720? I actually do need the 400 G12 but that desire continues to be miles away bank stability smart. I'll lookup some opinions for this SLR later but believed i'd ask all you men first as you know therefore much about all this material! Therefore could it be worthwhile in comparrison as to the is offered today (although that's probably an extremely silly question!) Whoa just re read that through and i don't half create long and complicated waffling articles when i must have just said this - Canon EOS 300d - anybody ever endured one and was it worthwhile? How might the SX110 and compacts A720 evaluate picture smart an such like? And is it worth practising with this previous SLR until i are able to afford the inbetween G12 (Though perhaps i realize that yes it's worth practising with!) While I am here - anybody have the G12, would you enjoy it? Any main flaws?! Thankyou
