Default My not so great art skills.
Occasionally I get bored and go on a photoshop quest. Sometimes its sigs, other times image manipulation.

Sometimes its straight out content creation and line drawing.

So here is my attempts and line art and then later coloring them.

I later went back and wanted to finish coloring the Red 91 camaro, but discovered the file I had saved out was CORRUPTED!!! ARGH!!

So I'm re-coloring it. Doesn't look quite the same but I'll get there eventually. I usually work on this stuff for lunch at work.

Don't want to sound too gay but where's the "not-so-great" part?
I can barely draw circles in PS/mspaint.

Thats all I have.

I think I have about 3 hours into the red camaro so far. What I mean by "not so great" is that it takes me a lot longer than those guys who know what they are doing.

I'm also doing this in photoshop and not illustrator (still learning illustrator, but wanted to finish this project first).

Any new stuff I do will probably be done in illustrator.

I'm sure I'll be finding things "wrong" with it long after I'm "done" with it. I'll be looking at it one day, 3 years from now and go "How did I miss that?"

That entire image was done soley in Adobe Photoshop using the Paths tool to make lines, and then "stroking" them to raster them. Illustrator is definitely better for that kind of art work, but I am not fully comfortable with Illustrator yet and I find myself getting frustrated in certain spots when I try to figure out which tool to use because the one I thought would work, doesn't work the way I expected.

Pretty much done except for the rear wheel and adding a background to the car.

I'm going to come back later and fix the things that annoy me with this one.

For now i'm starting a new one which I'll be posting up as soon as I get the lines "inked" so I can start filling it in.

This time I'm doing a picture of my own car at the drag strip.
