Default Latest Megadeth - Never Dead
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m2Mb2vMTIjg

What does everyone think?

I'm actually somewhat impressed from how old they are getting.

I was never a Megadeth fan as I've always found their music kind of tacky, mostly due to Dave's singing voice and the songs where he talks in that super cheesy voice. Having said that, that was a pretty damn good song.

BTW: Did they get a new drummer or something?

Haven't heard this yet, will give it a listen.

I've seen Megadeth live three times btw. Had tix to a 4th show, but it cancelled. They play so incredibly tight live, which is impressive considering the guitar work...

Marty and Dave are very very good musicians and the music has aged very well.

It's Shawn Drover. Same drummer they have had since 2004. Though he is sounding ****ing awesome on this.

I still miss Nick Menza.

Hell yeah. I love Rust In Peace, Countdown, Youth, Hidden Treasures and Cryptic.

But don't forget the stuff before either.

First listen.

Mustaine still sounds like he has the lyrical ability of a 10 year old.

I agree.

It probably has 2-3 songs that are worth listening to, but it's honestly a boring album.

Dave needs to bring Marty and Nick back, desperately!

It sounds just too generic.

Like the band met up and recorded a group of generic metal songs with a megadeth sound.

And the lyrics are too laughably childish.

Eh I think the album is alright and a bit better than their previous album.

Its definitely better than Lulu.

The lyrics are mediocre but still 1000000x better than anything James Hetfield has written in his lifetime.
