Should I take the plunge and buy Sony a33.
I've tried it and it's fantastic and everything but...

I can loan Canon 5dMkII from work almost when ever I want to. It "comes with" 24-70 2.8f, 28-105 4.0f and 70-200 2.8f lenses.
If I'm lucky I can get my hands on Sony a900 which comes with 24-70 2.8 and 70-200 2.8. This is our studio camera so it's not "free".

But I own only Canon 4MP compact camera. And it's ****, utter crap.

Sony a33 would cost me 540€. It comes with 18-55mm kit lens and tbh I was quite happy with the result. Maybe because I didn't expect anything from it.

Oh yes! That was one of the main reasons why I got this camera. (The video feature I mean.)

It's excellent!
