Default Improvisation, I has it! (also first pathetic act for 2009)
So yes, boredom leads to certain consequences, just as follows:

I made a ghetto studio in the kitchen. That's right ol' onions.(or who ever bothers sniffing in this particular board...)

in this project of mine you shall see the reflector I made of pure aluminum foil and an A4 paper, and a terrible use of lighting!

well, let the pictures to the talking, hold your breath:
(first 3 pics are from my nokia phone, photoshopped to be somewhat compatible with human eyes)

......
.....
....
...
..
.

and now to the point of no return guys & gals:

and a useless HDR attempt at making this shot worth a bit more than nothing:

You may laugh now.

I know you for about 16 years, and this is one of the most pathetic things you've ever done.
Good Job.

I disagree, I think you did damn good, overcame obstacles, made some very good pics and showed you don't always need the expensive equipment to get a shot when you use items on hand and creativity.![thumbup]

Dude, he uses $1,300 worth of equipment (and that's just for the lens).

And don't get me wrong, it came out a lot better than it would have if I was the one taking the picture.

Still, sad.
What did your mom say?

Decent, but the lighting/shadows are a wee bit harsh.

Dude, you have some nice gears and photos. But I do agree that the lighting on the shot needs some work, get yourself a $200 strobe and learn to bounce it around. Cheers!

yeah my purchase list is still long unfortunately,
still want an f/2.8 everyday zoom, something like a 24-70L,
a long tele for wildlife, 70-200mm range isn't enough for that...
580EX-II,
lighting equipment....

meh..
