Yup, yup! I loved Ender's Game. The book really affected me... I didn't read it until I was 21, but it really took me back to the agonies of being a picked-on kid. I've read the rest of the series, too. You should check out Ender's Shadow, which covers many of the same events, but from Bean's perspective. You don't need to read the middle books (Xenocide, Children of the Mind, one more whose title I forget?) to enjoy Ender's Shadow.
I don't remember the Amber books very well, but we have a compiled edition from the Science Fiction Book Club, and I read them several years ago. I always like books with the "falling into another world" concept behind them. |
