Why did you think I need a clarification of blinddonky's post? control over the HDR image...It's just that there are more than 3 exposures and I chose only 3 of them. This thread/post here is what I remembered reading weeks ago, so I commented on blinddonkey's post. I wasn't intending to get into some kind of "quarrel" with you - that's not my style. I'm sorry you feel offended, I do like the picture you posted (aside from the border ![]() |

Because he said then you replied This thread/post here is what I remembered reading weeks ago, so I commented on blinddonkey's post. I shot something like 4-6 exposures of the same frame(but used only 3), so that's why I offered him sending all of the exposures so he can choose what and how many is right to blend into the HDR file and then probably tonemap it. edit: Thanks and sorry for any misunderstanding at my side. |

LOL, I just wanted to screw around with it in some programs I learned about in classes at SIGGRAPH. I don't need the original pics.
I was just wanting to see the result in HDRShop or Photoshpere by looking at the HDR file. I am teh suck at HDR photos, I guess. So, I just like messing with them. Sorry for the confusion! They did some cool stuff like removing lens flare and other things with software, and talked about all kinds of crazy insane math for optimizing the scale. Greg Ward explained the benefits of OpenEXR, which I decided at the talk was the best HDR format. It's not perfect, but way better than any other options. Paul Debevec pretty much developed the technique you were using, so it was a real treat to hear him speak about it. Link The preview is not available but that is the talk i attended. |

You probably misunderstood me. I asked him if he'd like the different exposures, so he can build the (not tonemapped yet) HDR file, as an OpenEXR file for instance. |
