I have been playing bass for over 17 yrs. I want to make my own Fender hybrid bass.
A jazz bass neck on a P bass body. I love the feel of a Jazz neck but I dont like the tone.

I want to buy a Fender highway one Pbass and put a maple Jazz neck on it, Warmoth said there necks wont fit a highway one.
Fender wont sell individual necks.
I would rather not get a donor instrument because that will be expen$ive
