Default my first couple nighttime shots with my DSLR


tell me what u guys think. the sky looked wicked with the storm moving in.

1st pic is 30s @ F/5.6 55mm
2nd is 10s @ F/5.6 55mm

yep, Nikon D50 with the kit lense. Im starting to save up now for some better ones.

the 1st shot is the view out my front window. I was passing through to get some food when i saw it, and decided to brave the -5 temp to take some shots.

I recently ditched the 18-55 kit lens on my D50 and bought the Sigma 17-70/2.8-4.5 DC Macro 1:2.3, it didn't set me back much either.

All the pics in this album are taken with that lens:
