While that's pretty clever/creative, it doesn't function well as a logo. It's far too difficult to read and far too cluttered.

Logos need to be easily identifiable icons that instantly communicate.[yes]

Dude, I'm with one of the above posters, your Logo was far better, not putting any others down, but yours just looked modern, classy, simple, everything a good logo needs...maybe just experiment with colours?

Cheers for that, I suppose sometimes the first try can just work, here's a higher quality version of the same sort of thing as my first attempt.
