Photo Competition May - Architecture
Subject: Architecture
Closing Date: Midnight, 24th May 06 Well done to kentris winning last month with his spectacular night time city shot! For this months photo comp he has chosen the subject of architecture (which i am currently studyin in art as it happens!) this subject will allow you to study items like a simple nut and bolt all the way up to a skyscraper, so we will hopefully see lots of variation with peoples take on this subject, good luck! The contest is open to anyone on the forum. Don't worry about your skills - this is just for fun - but hopefully it will help people improve their photography, whatever level they're at. To aid this, feedback and constructive criticism are encouraged. Rules (we can tweak these as necessary as the thing goes on) - Photographs must be taken by you - no nicking them off the Web. You can use older shots if you want - you don't have to take new shots especially for the contest. - One picture per person. - No excessive digital manipulation (i.e. adding a more dramatic sky from another photo to your picture). Playing with levels, saturation, cloning out small unwanted elements etc is ok though. - Equipment: Anything goes as long as the results can be seen from here. - Give your picture a name, and provide details of how it was taken (equipment, location, exposure, aperture, any manipulation made etc) as applicable. - Voting takes place when the contest closes. (voting for this comp will take place between 24th-31st May) - The winner of the contest gets to choose the next subject. -Photographs have to be submitted in clickable thumbnail form otherwise they will not be able to be displayed on the polls board (max 200 pixels wide for the thumb nails, final image can have a max width of 1024) enjoy! |
Oh Oh - I'll enter this one with a shot I took two weeks ago in Barcelona http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...s/biggrin1.gif :
I'll add a thumbnail later, as I am at work now. EXIF data is in the image. (taken with a 30D + 17-85IS USM) http://www.picturepunk.com/barcelona_images/bar6.jpg |
