Right here is an example of a picture i have done by hand using dots, i was just wondering is there any way i can get the same effect on a picture using any filters on PS?





i have had a look around but i cannot see anything but i might be being stupid and missing something obvious.

(btw this pic aint even close to finished, hence it currently looking pretty......****!)

Hmm you could try the stipple effect in PS.



I did that just now by using a real photo then applying grain with the speckle setting applied. Then I desaturated and placed a clean layer behind it - then simply used blending options to remove the excess noise.
