I can rip it ok, just it gives me the full 25 minute team match. I need something to edit it into the 5 separate matches.

And are you going to give me some text for your profile or should we just leave it as 'Hey Hey, I'm Joe I rule' :P
I'm sure you can find a copy of After Effects or Premiere somewhere... oh lets say mIRC? ummm DC++? Or the good old Kazaa? I didn't say those stuff, it was my other me

Good job, just a few minor nits - I'm never a big fan of entrance banners, why not just go straight to the main page? Also wherever there's links, it's hard to tell what are links and what are titles. For example, in the articles page there are underlined titles that look like they might be links (and probably should be links) but you have to click the "view" word below, which you can only guess is a link by it's name, not by font or colour or underlining or whatever. It also doesn't hurt to have multiple links, so if you like your "view" links keep them but also make the titles links.

Thanks for the advice all.
In my Systems Analysis and Systems Design classes in college...
Being a compski, I know the dictionary def (e.g. in a database the data dictionary) but wasn't sure about its application to websites.

Regarding our logo/splash page, we have a pro graphic designer doing us a logo and a banner so we want to show that stuff off (the logo is the same as in my avatar, only white on red, with the kanji for tomo (friend) in the centre).

It makes sense to make the titles of the media section links, so I'll do that straight away.

My current aim is to find some open source video editing software so I can get our vids of us at the bowden up. I googled and found jahshaka but thats way too hardcore. Anyone know any good apps?

Nice website dude!

I particularly liked "Welcome to the United Sates of Stuart Gibson, I'm the President, King and Prime Minister, and my word is law."

I also noticed no mention of Furocious Earthic being taught - is this okuden?

Call me a geek, but...

The site doesn't resize if your screen is set to 600 x 800. Also, I detected a lack of metadata.

P.S. I don't get out much.

in here, i see your top logo (ULC kendo...) over lapping your menu by a few milimeters. you might want to just adjust that, but i'm picky

other than that, it looks good.

red is a very active color too. some ppl find it agressive. perhaps put a little bit of brown in it might help with that.

nice start !

project

OK I'm a web design noob, what do you mean by metadata?
In my Systems Analysis and Systems Design classes in college, they defined metadata as "data about the data". In other words, a brief explanation of the data required, without actual coding. Kind of a way of explaining to the coder what it is you are trying to make. (At my college, IT people were in Business Administration, Computer Science people were in the School of Engineering and Sciences.)

you can read about Metadata here: http://internal.bath.ac.uk/web/authoring/metadata.html

Basically just keywords how well for the web crawler to grab your site, so you get more visitors when someone types in Kendo dojo or whatever

I don't know anybody still use 800x600 for the screen resolution unless they're blind like one of my clients, lol

Default Site test
www.kendo.uclu.org

please click around, tell me if you have any problems. Currently everything up to and including media (going left to right) works.

If you do have problems viewing the site then please post the name/version of your browser and your screen resolution.

Cheers :-)

I've been thinking about this and after a fiddle with php and css together, I should have it working (in a few hours) so that during the evening (19:00-00:00) the background colour changes to blue.

Opinions?

Nice site!

Shiai League, Site Map, and Links are dead links still right? The only slight problem is in IE the header banner moved down a bit, looks great in FireFox, Opera, and Netscape. The splash page links to Forum and Beginners didn't go anywhere tho. Instead of "Site", I think "Enter" makes more sense coz I didn't click on it the first few times and I thought it wasn't a link.

That's all I got, looks great!
