Bloody hell if you end up with Medhurst and Havelburg you will end up with 4 specialist forwards. How would that work? Something tells me you will end up with problems, 4 forwards competing with one another. I can imagine Medhurst going off his nut at Wilson or Murphy for getting in his way and cramping his style. Should be interesting around the huddles. Maybe not many cuddles in the huddles in the SF forward group?

might not have to worry about Wilson (watch this space!)

Murphs didn’t really play alot in the fwd line last year...played in various positions, ruck, spent some down back & reckon he'll be used in a similar way next year...

Jarrod Morton apparently has signed with the Tigers (Claremont variety) for the next two years and Paul Medhurst is back on Claremonts list. Not sure if that means he has signed. Any Tigers fans out there heard anything? They would add much potency to an already potent forward line.

Also if what i was told midway through last season is correct, Bernard Sneeuwajt returns to Perth. A talented young mid who i think is capable of forcing his way into the 22, pending AFL players of course.

Thought i would bump this up for our new comers to this site. If there are any announcements missing here then please let me know and i'll update it. I generally don't bother with reserves players so just keep it to players that have played league or if there's anything on here that is incorrect let me know. It's just a general guide for everyone to reference.

Apparently Scott Siekierka has re-signed at the PFC? Maybe the lure of finals pulled him out of retirement?
Great news i really rate Scotty and i hope some success comes his way, he deserves it for being there through the hard times.
So at the end of the day our only real losses are Army and Sibosabo, its good we've kept the majority of the squad and added some quality recruits.

More excellent news, had probably his best year of footy this year and probably wanted to go out on a high. Hopefully Scotty can have another injury free year and go out on a much bigger high!

Yes he has Macs. Looks the part size wise as a ruckman and is a good athlete but always looked a bit out of his depth at league level. Maybe Micale can stir something out of him.

Thanks ogab.

I often wondered why he and brother Tom ended up at Claremont and Jake at East Perth when they came from our Country Zone at Margaret River.

Keddell is a good pickup. The midfield will be looking pretty good with Travers and Daniels added to it also. Having said that, you needed to replace Jordan Jones and Healy who left big holes there. It'll be interesting to see if the new VFL boys can handle the heat and big grounds over here.

Shit, Peel are outshining Subi in the recruiting dept. I think Peel are going places and built a bit of momentum last year coming off the opening of their new facilities. I am sort of over it now (them being in the comp) and wish them all the best, though i still hate the bye. But then again the bye might be the saviour of our comp now. It looks like the Eagles and Dockers will field a reserves side to play the sides that have the bye and this will not compromise and ruin our WAFL competition.
