Kerr should get votes in the dickhead of the year award... Cant believe what I saw on the news. Did he think no camers would be there or something ?? He was the headline for the day for christs sake. The Eagles should just p!ss him off. Gets paid millions and has done nothing since 2006. (execpt get injured or reported) |

Round 23 Attendances 1) West Perth (9 metro home games/didn’t include shared game at Bassendeen) 24325 at an average of 2702 per game. 2) South Freo (9 metro home games/didn’t include the game they played in country) 23753 at an average of 2639 per game. 3) Swan Distr (9 metro home games/didn’t include the game they played in country) 22603 at an average of 2511 per game. 4) Perth ------ (9 metro home games/didn’t include the game they played in country) 21742 at an average of 2415 per game. 5) East Perth - (9 metro home games/didn’t include the game they played in country) 21026 at an average of 2336 per game. 6) Claremont (10 metro home games) 22403 at an average of 2210 per game. 7) Subiaco --- (10 metro home games) 20405 at an average of 2041 per game. 8) East Freo -- (10 metro home games) 17076 at an average of 1707 per game. 9) Peel Thund (9 metro home games/didn’t include the game they played in country) 11298 at an average of 1255. Things I noticed. The WP garlic munchers don’t like traveling to the SF garlic munchers home ground. at the two visits to Fremantle oval the crowd was 1394 and 1701. SF lowest crowds of the year. EF crowds would look even worse with out SF playing them at their home ground Twice that year. South Freo got a big leg up for their overall attendance with one game. That being when they played EF and 8251 went through the gates. without this game average number would have been 1937 per game seeing them drop back to 7th position. Perth have good support considering.[/QUOTE] Thats not quite correct. I think you will find both those games were held on a miserable Friday night. Friday night footy in winter, why would anyone bother! Derbys are derbys and they will be here forever,i dont see your point there. |

Don’t get a few of your points here 77??
Derbies have been around since day dot, so its up to the other clubs to try & find ways to attract big crowds like those games always do… 30+ is correct, SF v WP played twice @ Freo on Friday nights last year with shocking weather on both occasions, drastically effected the figures… |

I have a few different figures which were given to me at the time although some seem to have been changed since. I went through each email to compare the figures given on that week.
R9 CL v EP 1822 (Correct) R12 S V SD 2249 (Correct) R12 P v SF 1258 (Altered to 1708 the following week. They may have added the standard 450 for colts/reserves not playing) R12 PT v EP 1219 (Correct) R23 SD v PT 1959 (Correct) Also I have made an error somehow jotting down R11 P v PT 1895 instead of 1845 R10 CL v PT 1425 instead of 1410 Will fix the bottom 2 plus the Perth country game at Wongan Hills but not the rest as those figures were emailed to me from the WAFL and are correct |

Well I'm going off the WAFL website and I am not talking about figures of 50 or so. You gave Perth around 800 less on their overall attandance which shows a bad reflection on them. I will now add up for example EF figures and will get back to you. btw you didn't answer who you support. |

No need to apologise Ben...u do a great job & I'm sure the majority would agree & give ur support, thanx & keep it up mate!
Yeah for sure. My apologies for the errors. I might have mixed up PT and P in one of the games. Just checking back. 43,242 is correct with the 450 added on for the 300 colts/150 reserves rule at Wongan Hills. |
