Default Players Released to the WAFL.
In their wisdom (?), the bush turkeys have released 16 players for this weekend's fixtures:

Jacob Brennan, Brett Jones, Daniel Kerr, Pat McGinnity, Eric McKenzie, Ryan Neates, Brad Sheppard, Koby Stevens, Lewis Stevenson, Tom Swift and Garrick Weedon are those whose teams are playing.

ie. East Fremantle - 4; Claremont - 7. No players from either the Royals or the knuckledraggers. Does that also mean that the other 5 who were released, Sam Butler, Jordan Jones, Scott Lycett, Andrew Strijk and Blayne Wilson whose teams do not play this weekend are available for the Reserves of the teams that are playing?

And how do Claremont supporters feel knowing that one third of their team could be made up from part-timers.

Sort of takes you back to the days of Club Alignment.

Mind you, when Claremont were aligned with the turkeys (pre-East Perth), they were hopeless.

The dorkers have not released any players.
