Default Donkey of the Race - Spa
Grosjean so far, such a silly accident with so many drivers out in one stupid act.

More maybe to come, the race is young.

I think we already have a winner. It will take Maldonado-esque amounts of donkeying to deprive Grosjean of the title. :P

Someone's going to have to do something really f***ing stupid to outdo Grosjean. Ruining your own race, the race of the championship leader and two others (one of whom was on his best F1 grid position) is a classic **** up, especially in such spectacular and dangerous form. In a way he was lucky that it didn't do more damage, you simply can't pull across a track like that, especially when everyone is funnelling into such a tight corner.

Wow, that was one of the most retarded maneuvers I've ever seen by any driver. Clearly Grosjean's fault. What a ****ing idiot. If he doesn't know the dimensions of his car, he shouldn't be on the track. Muppet.

I have no doubt there will be some idiots that blame Hamilton however, just because they like to.

Well, I think this is a bit over the top. Yes, it was a really dumb move, but I think that we're blowing it a bit out of proportion because he's managed to take Hamilton, Alonso and Pérez out, so we're all upset in here. It wasn't *that* bad, just the usual Grosjean first-lap idiocy.

Grosjean and possibly Maldonado, who jumped the start, had an accident on the exit of turn 1 and another accident on the restart. Don't know how much fault was pastor's, but my instinct tells me at least half!

Clear winner of Donkey was Grosjean

He swung over onto Lewis so violently and caused so much carnage and almost death for Alonso. A very stupid move.

Other mentions:

Maldonado (again) - Jjumped start by about a week, then crashed into Glock unseen. Awesome race from a promising 6th.

Grosjean is the donkey. He has had many many similar incidents this year. Maybe Lotus should think twice before signing him for next year.

Maldonado's errors were a lot more stupid than Grosjean's, even though they were less consequential to others.

So I'd call it a draw between those two.

Crazy, crazy boy but this sort of thing is going to happen when drivers don't respect others around them. There was no reason to squeeze Lewis to the wall. He would have had track position going into the first but the Swueeze is now a part of some drivers armoury. Perfected by Schumy in the first place, we are seeing more and more drivers use it and it's bloody dangerous. 3 drivers out there today could quite easily have fared badly in this crash. It's about time this sort of driving is punished hard.

Except the obvious Groejan and "three at once Pastor" I can mension Senna for his tyre strategy. Its not a big deal to lose your tyres trying to save one pit stop, but when you are sliding all around the track for about 10 laps and finally decide to change them 5 laps before the end, it is pure donkeyness for me. Compare how Mercedes reacted to similar problem.

I can also give "thumbs down" (not a donkey) to Di Resta and Webber for being nowhere their teammates. And Kobayashi for overheating the brakes.
