Default mpg calc'n
if i fill 'er up, then drive for a good bit (about a tick above e)

record those miles, then fill 'er up again.

mpg would be those rec'd miles, div'd by the amount of gallons, right?

That's how I do it.

Without extra sensors plugged into your fuel line to record fuel flow and allso conected to your speedo to record speed and distance thats the most acurate you are gonna get.

That would be just around town, right, not freeway?

you should calculate it over a few tanks of gas for best accuracy

That's what I do. I just fill my tank to the top and set the tripometer. Then I keep track of the next few times I put gas in, the last time, I fill the tank add up all the gallons used and divide by the total miles. Like OUZbnd said, a few tanks will give you a better overall picture.

your forgiven. you only have half the cylinders. when you find the other 4, then you can compare.
