Shelby GT500 rated between 450 and 500HP.
Dodge Challenger SRT8 rated at 425HP. Chevy Camaro rated at 400HP. I'll go first! Personally, I love the looks of the Challenger. By far I think it stuck closer than the others to the original look that it was modelled after. Plus, it will have a base model V6 for those on a budget, an R/T model with the 5.7l Hemi (a mid-range model) and the SRT8 with the 6.1l Hemi (top of the line model). The only downside I can see to it so far is that the dealers will have a field day with the markups on the SRT8 model, making it largely unattainable for those of us that make less than six figures a year. The Camaro is also rumored to be in the works for offering a base model V6 as well as the LS2. I can also see markups being a big problem for this much anticipate re-release of the Camaro. With the GT500 you only have that option... the GT500. We have all read some reviews of this beast. Some were good, some were bad. 'Nuff said. Your turn! |
