Help needed here

Years ago which some of you may remember a programme called Mobil 1 Motorsport News used to show rallies on satelite tv.

I had a copy of the Jordan Rally from 87-88 which I lost
Can anyone help if they have any old Middle East events from the 80's to very early 90's on VHS they could copy or onto dvd if possible

I copied some other MERC events for Duby Miller but it I only had 90's upwards apart from 88 Qatar Rally

Any help would be appreciated

I have a full report of the Oman rally from 1984. Will that interest you?
I`m looking for old footage from the midle east rally champ until 1988.

I even tried Terry Plant formerly of TTME for pics and videos

might try Mohammed Bin Sulayem if I can get a contact for him

I don't have any video's but I ran the Qatar international rallies and raids from 1989 to 1993. I can try and dig out what bits i have if anyone wants more information.

Mark,

The best person to get information about rallying in Jordan and the Middle East Rally Championships would be Derek Ledger. He ran the Jordan club. He can be contacted through the FIA where he holds a high office.
