Well, some would argue all sorts of conspiracies, team orders, and favoritism cost Mark the WDC this year. That's all nonsense!
If the truth be known, Mark blew his chances, not at Abu Dabhi, Nor Interlagos; He dropped the bundle at Mogpo - in Korea. That's where he gifted Fernando 33 points, 25 for the win and a further deficit of 8 if Fernando had only scored a second. Then and there, the championship was within his grasp. And the chance will NOT come again. Vettel was blowing chances left and right this year after qualifying on pole - he won't be doing that next ear, and he will not only be faster, but he will be wiser next year. Ya had it in the bag, Mark, like the floating catch that you had to hold to win the match and the Ashes - ya dropped it, and the Poms ran 4 and won the match and retained the Ashes. Same thing - and it feels just as bad. No good complaining about wings and team orders - that's all just mind games now. Yes! you did have a chance in Abu Dabhi - you had to qualify on pole and win the start. But that was beyond you, as the champ did that; and he won. Bad Luck? No it wasn't luck, the kid was just too good. Sometimes in life, ya have to face the truth, no matter how much it hurts. Vettel is the true champion this year and that's the truth. |
