Could you two give rough estimation how many S2000 cars there could be in Barum outside IRC regulars - meaning those competing in ERC and Czech championship or perhaps otherwise making an appearance in Zlin. I'm hoping there'd be over 30 S2000s at the start line. Perhaps we could make a list here.

I'm trying to hold down my excitement towards this particular event, but it's hard... It is going to be my first international event I'll spectate outside Finland, first IRC event and first tarmac event. Usually at this time of the year I'm planning my route through NORF, but now I haven't checked its initeary since it was released in February - thanks to Barum http://www.motorsportforums.com/imag...lies/smile.gif

Haremporblape 05-28-2010 04:14 AM

Yes, I think that the number of S2000 will be around 30. Than roughly another 30 production cars, some 10-15 R3 cars, some 10 S1600 cars etc. I don't like making lists though http://www.motorsportforums.com/imag...lies/smile.gif

ConoMadura 05-28-2010 04:27 AM

It is too early to say any names or numbers. I can tell you only one exact number - number of actually entered S2000 cars is... ...0 http://www.motorsportforums.com/imag...lies/smile.gif

Okey, I'll cancel my flight...

And make auction for your accomodation, I whink you can earn lot of money from it - most of hotels and pensions in Zlin are full....

Rally Guide 1

It appears that most of the route is changed from 2009. Is there any maps available yet?

ConoMadura 06-04-2010 04:52 PM

Maps and itinerary with right names of stages will be available later. There is still lot of time before rally and we dont want illegal recce from competitors, spectators and journalists...

I understand competitors, but is recce by journalists and spectators illegal? http://www.motorsportforums.com/images/smilies/wink.gif http://www.motorsportforums.com/imag...es/biggrin.gif Maybe new "great" regulations by FIA... http://www.motorsportforums.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

Yes, sometimes it really is. Some of those roads are restricted for public. Of course it doesn't brake any sporting rule but forbidden traffic on closed roads makes problems for organizers with future permission for running those stages.

Weislenalkata 06-05-2010 07:42 AM

70% of the stages are changed, that is a huge amount! Hopefully it will be as good as ever though, my flights have been booked for months and again really looking forward to it after an excellent time last year http://www.motorsportforums.com/images/styles/World/icons/icon14.gif

antilt 06-05-2010 06:55 PM

I haven't seen the new stages yet, but I'm very happy that the route was changed. It was really getting old driving the same stages for the last 5 years. Good luck with the rally guys!

In 2008 I spoted a Skoda parked on the road, blocking the ss (few hours before the rally). This was the first time I saw soemthing like that http://www.motorsportforums.com/imag...lies/smile.gif

Mirek Fric means that the owners of the areas where the rally will be held would get angry if insane rally fans raced there (months or weeks before the rally).

Haremporblape 06-29-2010 08:44 AM

Timetable released: http://www.barum.rally.cz/2010/pdf/b...-itinerary.pdf

gugamotina 07-03-2010 02:38 AM

Thanks Mirek.

Bouffier confirmed his participation in Barum today! That´s a very good news, especially after what he´s shown this weekend at Bohemia rally!

SarkisPioute 07-05-2010 07:05 AM

Where is a good place to sleep in Zlin? Hotels are full?
