Hard drugs then. Marijuana: a cool fad or pothead rave? Personally with the economy the way it is, it's understandable that more people are becoming potheads. It's something to fill the void and make time pass. I also like giggling and stumbling about; it's good ambulation.

Aside from marijuana, should heroin et al be taken off the banned list?

Marijuana may not be as bad for you as other drugs, but bad is still bad. Personally I think lots of things that are legal should be illegal, but the general public would riot, which would inevitably be worse. I just think people do it for one of two reasons:

1. They are depressed and cant find a better answer
2. They want to look cool by pissing off mommy and daddy and being a "rebel".

Heroin is... Like Satan's piss for lack of better comparison. Its Cons Outweigh its Pros and I feel personally that should stay on the ban list.

I agree. I will concede that, from what I have read, tobacco is far more lethal than marijuana, but I'd still like to see both plant eradicated. I know of people that are dying from emphysema from smoking; there's nothing to stop it, they need their fix. If I had political power I'd unban marijuana, and then I would more heavily tax the addicts; that's not necessarily a control-maneuver that leftists usually do, because they can still choose to buy those products but be less inclined to do so. I wonder what their level of rage would be?

Think Resident Evil. If I had developed a virus that would spread and destroy all marijuana and tobacco, and people caught news of it, I wonder what the reaction would be. Would I be considered a terrorist if I let that (aerial) virus out? Just imagining the possible human reactions to that scenario interests me.

Then again, I must be a Nazi for wanting to restrict such harmful substances. Medications, respirators, drug therapies... they're not cheap. If those substances could somehow be eliminated, nations would save billions of $$$ and quite a few lives as well.

Don't spam. Come with a topic prepared, and information on the topic.
Making a thread and asking for a debate isn't what this forum is for (almost though).

Also, if you want to talk about drugs/legalization of Mary Jane, we already have a thread for that.
