I second this. I frequently need to give some posters a time-out of 2 to 3 days, depending on the severity of their retardation infraction. But I need to remember. It's so much work.
Some people, like blackice, are still on there. I don't remember what he did, or when he did it, or if he even still posts. |

I'm against. I use the list, but I like that it is easy to put people on or off. No need for extra programming for time periods. If someone goes on my list they are most likely not coming off. I have made one exception, and it worked smoothly. Leave the process alone. |

Thats my approach-- I don't know if I ever used the ignore feature-- I probably did at some time but now I just read selectively-- Hell I "ignore" whole threads ![]() |

I like to put people on my ignore list and then pull them off after a few months to check if there's been any improvement in their posts. However, I'm finding it a hassle to manage my ignore list. I tend to forget when I put certain people on it, and making a note of each addition seems to be too much like work. Therefore, I'd like to request a feature that allows me to enter an ignore period (in days, say) each time I add somebody. At the end of that period, the person would automatically be removed from my ignore list and I would be able to read their posts again. Naturally, I'm skeptical. |

Here's an idea for you. Quit being such a candy ass. Do you think you have the mental fortitude to accomplish such a task? it's nothing but an ego game, well, everywhere in life now really. It's the times we live in, nothing can be done about it for the rest of our lives, anywhere on earth... only to start with YOUR own reactions. |
