Default Who or what is GP?
More specifically, he is a homosexual gymnastics fan who used to serve in the Navy (this is massively redundant but I am being very clear)

You should. Some people need the nudge.

It isn't spam, not is it directed at a particular poster. It is genuine ignorance, and seeking enlightenment. How am I supposed to know that GP=TCO?

I have allowed lots of trolls to go on? The only time that I have closed things down is when they went overboard.

I am not interested in policing apolyton to remove all trolls. If things go overboard again, moderator action will be taken.

This isn't a troll thread. It is a very serious thread.

To request a ban so that you're not tempted to post. 'Mod Blah, I've got a big test coming up and need to study but Poly is too much of a distraction, can you ban me please?'

Then when the test is done you send a request for release.
So true... so true. Nothing wrong with "giving a GP". It is a request by a member because they don't have the strength to not post on their own.

It's a Poly tradition

Like getting a back street dentist to wire your mouth shut because you can't say no to the cookies.
