Default Today is the day...
Just go south-east until you see Cubans in canoes.

Best of luck Tia.

Knock 'em dead.

But not with food poisoning. The other way.

Longest I did in one day was Toronto - Montreal - Boston in about 11 hours including stop offs.

I'm not proud that I essentially blew through Montreal, stopping only for lunch with two lovely Canadian girls I met on the road, but others I'm sure would beg to differ (about Montreal, not the girls bit)...

ok so yeah! I made it! I drove about 600 miles just today. It's 10:30 here in Florida and I'm going to the store to get last minute supplies and then it's back to the room to start cooking all night. I need to leave here about 5:30 a.m. to register at 6:30 because the silly lady that booked my room told me it was 20 minutes to where I needed to go but it's really 45. No worries just have to revamp my time schedule a bit. Changing my Compass! So ok......that's it. I'm off to bake pies and tomorrow I will be the National Pie Champion!

Go Tia! Roll them over, and er, cut them to slices, and er, other pie-based puns of encouragement.

I was once declared the National Pie Champion. Oh wait, I missed the word "Eating" out of that

Thread starter, robbing the bank is a better plan than trying to get a loan with a Pie Championship ribbon.

Spill the bean pie then. How did you do? I checked the pie council website yesterday but it's useless and was still advertising the event instead of covering the real stories!

Yeah, I couldn't find anything either. Obviously, Tia is still busy doing interviews and lording it over the losers.

Key lime pie is hella easy to make. It's just lime juice, condensed milk, and eggs. Put it in a pastry shell (though outside of Florida people use graham cracker crust) and bake.

I think next year I might want to go to this pie festival. They have an all you can eat pie buffet for $10.
