What it proves is the overwhelming extent of acquaintance/domestic violence- the rise in the violent crime figure is overwhelmingly due to those categories. So, in other words, don't start thinking that the streets are less safe as a result.

It really wouldn't surprise me if the shortfall in the burglary and vandalism results aren't due to family strife either.
