Actually... I'd say a newb is someone who doesn't know what they're talking about, but is willing to learn. A n00b on the other hand is also someone who doesn't know what they're talking about, but won't admit they're wrong.

A new person to a website who does know what they're talking about is not a newb or a n00b. That is simply a new member.

EDIT: I don't hate you individually, just Americans in general... and Slowwhand for being such a typical American.

Dis, thanks everyone else on this thread(except LordShiva) seems to hate me. I will admit to being slightly spamy. I would like to ask the people calling me a newb, what your definition of a newb is. I have been here for over two months, and 500 posts. Nobody hates you, but you got an inflated sense of self-importance, you think people are willing to go along with self-indulgence like this thread, and you can't take jokes. Those aren't good qualities if you want to be liked.
