I might actually get bored enough to watch this whole video later tonight. Seems interesting, though, from what I've read thus far.

It's kind of funny; Microsoft and Mozilla are angry at Google due to their preparations of Google Wave, particularly through the Chrome Frame plugin.
Basically, rather than write an interpreter for Google Wave for IE or Firefox, Google built a plugin called Chrome Frame that essentially acts as an HTML renderer (turns HTML files into the visible web pages we all know and love). So basically it's Internet Explorer acting like Google Chrome, and runs about 3 times as fast. Of course, it completely bipasses a lot of the utter crap useful usability features in IE, and according to Mozilla's CEO "confuses users". It's pretty fun ^-^ But yeah, Google Wave looks interesting. Personally, I'm more interested in the Chrome OS though. |
Chrome OS? o_o
But I love my firefox =[ |
Firefox is cool.
But that Wave thing is cool. |
Internet Explorer is de boommbbb. I like this though. sounds interesting i like the email set up less like an email more like a chatroom or an IM
|
If i get an invite ill be stoked
|
I forgot about the Chrome OS, I'll have to check into that.
But this thing, is Genius. This will make things 300x easier and make things run so much smoother. I'm super excited. It's like the best video game ever, except its an application. |
Robert Scoble calls it overhyped, claiming it's useful for little more than personal IM or small-scale project collaboration.

Was reading that article and got to the part where they mentioned the development API, and just had an idea for an app for it. He's right about the social aspects being unproductive; but hey, that's what the public mainly wants it for. However, I think it does have a bit of merit for Project Management, especially with keeping track of people working offsite. It wouldn't be too difficult to develop a simple Project Management application and (hopefully) deliver Gantt charts to track projects and progress.
^-^ Gonna apply for the API right away. |

However, no one person communicates with everyone on their Facebook/Myspace/etc friends list, so it should be obvious that adding everyone to your Wave contacts is probably not the best idea. And I also believe that, this early, there isn't any unspoken rules to Wave, like there is with every mainstream form of communication; that's why it seems like a nest of conversations and a lot of noise. |
So I just got this...
It loooooks pretty neat :D Someone get it so we can do cool stuffs Edit I have 8 Invites if people want it |
