There are very few things that I miss from living in the US, but near the top of the list has to be the regular card games with friends.

I would like to put together a small group of people in Santo Domingo who would like to get together semi-regularly to play poker. (Texas Hold'em, 7 Card Stud, Draw, dealer's choice, whatever) I have a great set of clay chips and a table overlay to absorb the beer stains. Ideally, we would rotate locations but I'm willing to host the first.

...small time play.....RD$1500-RD$3000 buy ins...limited reloads...nothing too wild...just enough to make it sting or sing...enough to make it worth it if you are a winner but nobody has to sell their car if they lose...just a good time...
