I Never did like KISS or Chaim.....

Gene Simmons is an American rock and roll legend and bassist for the band KISS, his net worth is estimated at $300 million.
How much does Gene Simmons make per episode of Family Jewels? $40,000
Simmons was born Chaim Witz on August 25th, 1949 in Haifa, Israel. Gene left Israel with his mother (Florence Klein) at the age of 8 and moved to Jackson Heights, Queens in New York City.Once in America, young Chaim Witz adopted the more Americanized name of Eugene Klein. He also became very interested in music after watching The Beatles on the Ed Sullivan show. With his newfound interest in music his mother brought him a secondhand guitar. Gene became very good with the guitar but decided to switch over to bass because he felt it would easier to get in a band. While in high school Eugene started his first band, Lynx which was later renamed Missing Links. After his time with the Missing Links Simmons joined The Long Island sounds.
Gene studied briefly at Sullivan County Community College then transferred to Richmond College eventually earning a degree in education. With his degree in hand, Simmons taught grade school in Spanish Harlem and even worked as a personal assistant with the editor of “Vogue” and “Glamour” magazine. It was during this time that he changed his name to Gene Simmons in honor famed rockabilly performer “Jumpin’ Gene Simmons”.
Going under the name of Gene Simmons he met Stanley Eisen (A.K.A Paul Stanley). The two decided to collaborate and formed the band “Wicked Lester”. Their efforts paid off quickly because just after seven shows they signed a deal with epic records. They recorded their album but it was not supported by Epic and the album fall by the wayside. After this failure Simmons and Paul set out to create what they called “The band that would rule the world”. They invited drummer Peter Criss to join them after seeing his advertisement in “Rolling Stone” magazine. They would soon be joined by guitarist Paul Frehley (aka Ace Frehley). The stage was now set for “Kiss” to take on the world. After five months of rehearsal they played their first show. Before the show they decided to experiment with make-up. Feeling that the make-up made them look too feminine they instead opted to use make-up as a form of art. They came up with the idea to use the make-up to express who they are as a person. “Kiss” quickly gathered a fan base. But even with a fan base their first three albums were met with little or no critical success. One thing that was well known is that Kiss put on a great live show. It was decided to record Kiss live in concert. Once the live CD was release the band’s reputation grew because their live album hit quadruple platinum.
After five successful years the band members began to feel imprisoned by each other. It was during this time that they went separate ways to record their solo albums. When the band finally came back they we’re met with backlash. Many fans grew tired of Kiss’ make-up and Gene’s theatrics of spitting blood on stage. In 1983 Kiss decided to perform without the make-up. This proved to be a great t venture which allowed their popularity to grow. It was during the 80’s that Gene felt like he wanted to take on more of the world. He began to accept acting jobs from Hollywood in 84 and started his own record label (Simmons Recording) during this time. He wanted to take on so much of the world that he even managed the career of Jazz great Liza Minnelli. Kiss would release their album Revenge album in 1992. The album would mark a much darker and rough tone that most of their albums have had. The album was a hit which led to Kiss being back in the lime light. Kiss has played on and off again since 1992 even making an appearance in 1995 on MTV’s Unplugged. In 1999 Simmons co-produced the film “Detroit Rock City” which is the ultimate love letter to Kiss. Simmons conquered the world of music with Kiss but in addition to that he also has as of late entered the reality television business with his shows Rock School and Gene Simmons family Jewels. Although Simmons has never married he currently lives with his long time partner former Playboy playmate Shannon Tweed with their two kids. They currently reside in Beverly Hills, California.

Rock & Rock legend? Is that a joke? Very short on real talent - very long on marketing and hype. No one will remember the music of KISS in 20 years, no one.

Gene Simmons: "That's what Gentiles are for"
Miss Gulch
Mr Gale,
Uncle Henry
Howdy, Miss Gulch.
Miss Gulch
I want to see you and your wife right away, about Dorothy.
Uncle Henry
Dorothy? Well, what has Dorothy done?
Miss Gulch
What's she done? I'm all but lame from the bite on my leg!
Uncle Henry
You mean she bit you?
Miss Gulch
No, her dog!
Uncle Henry
Oh, she bit her dog, eh?
Miss Gulch
No!
Miss Gulch
That dog's a menace to the community. I'm taking him to the Sheriff and make sure he's destroyed.
Dorothy
Destroyed? Toto? Oh, you can't! You mustn't! Auntie Em! Uncle Henry! You won't let her, will you?
Uncle Henry
Of course, we won't. Will will Em?
Dorothy
Oh, please, Aunt Em? Toto didn't mean to. He didn't know he was doing anything wrong.
I'm the one that ought to be punished. I let him go in her garden. You can send me to bed wihtout supper -
Miss Gulch
If you don't hand over that dog, I'll bring a damage suit that'll take your whole farm!
There's a law protecting folks against dogs that bite!
Aunt Em
How would it be if she keeps him tied up? He's really gentle - with gentle people, that is.
Miss Gulch
Well, that's for the Sheriff to decide. Here's his order allowing me to take him.
Unless you want to go against the law.
Uncle Henry
Uh - yes -
Aunt Em
Now, we can't go against the law, Dorothy. I'm afraid poor Toto will have to go.
Miss Gulch
Now you're seeing reason.
Dorothy
No -
Miss Gulch
Here's what I'm taking him in - so he can't attack me again. When you speak the enlarged text it might actually come out as "He's really gentle - with gentile people, that is." Which in a way explains why Toto decided to bite the landlady.

If it wasn't for the jewish domination of all forms of media nobody would know who KISS was in the first place, but due to this I think they will still be remembered as long as their kin want them to be.

That is the case for the vast majority of musicians today, they can turn anyone they want into a celebrity and they routinely do whether or not that person has any merit to warrant the fame is irrelevant if it furthers and of the various jewish goals they promote them.

I figure "Hayseed Dixie" would be an "AC/DC" cover band.

Yeah, I screwed that one up. It has been awhile since I have kept up with them.

They have forayed into many other genres.

This one is particularly interesting.

Can they can turn someone into a "star" even if they don't have the support of any fans?

I can understand how someone can be "put out there" to be heard, but how do they make anyone like them?
Throw most in front of a teevee or prolonged radio exposure, and you will need a bucket for the drool.

Reinforcement of feelings by brainwashed peers has a great influence too.
