Default SRT Font question
Bought a vinyl cutter USCUTTER Laserpoint 24" a few days ago. I wanted to make my own logos on my built computers and other stuff figured do some business stuff on the SRT. Just gotta add some words for computer repair & sales. Thought it be cool to use the font that SRT is close too pretty sure it's just Sofachrome. So here is how it looks. Not too bad. If there is a better font I'm all ears before I get too crazy I have lots of Yellow lol!! Black too.

Yeah, use italic.

I was just looking into a cutter as well. How much did it run you? Looks like you have it all figured out already, nice! What type of image files can you cut out? Vector only? I might have to send you some stuff to cut for me!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=270606783924 comes with a full trial program called SignBlazer which is what I used to do above. As long as it can be monochrome it can take a bitmap/jpg and convert it to vector just by clicking a button.

I do have a program called Lxi Expert 8.5 payed $107 actually bought it to get a well used cutter to do this stuff just its too worn out it looks. Took awhile to find at that price. Again from Ebay.
Once I learn how to use it anything goes I guess. Did the photoshop CS4 freebee download. Seems to be the portable version will see what I can learn off that.
Throw me something will see if I can make it turn out LOL!! craig@darnickcorppcs.com
Vinyl was pretty cheap the 12" x 100 yards was $15 for both.

The best way to print type is through Illustrator by converting it to outlines (Vector based) graphics. Photshop is all rasterized images so you'll never really get a excellent print. like you would with Illustrator. I think I have almost every font imaginable saved on my Mac. I have to double check what the SRT font is, but the Dodge Font is called "Dodger" and the Hemi Font is called "Hemihead."
