The world will probably go through a series of backlash and millions will lose there sense of being and have no spiritual ground to stand. The total elimination of religion is the ONLY way mankind will survive. Religion breeds hate, segregation, stigma and more. These are NOT all found in human nature, they are bred.

Thank you for that comment....its great to know others on this site have the same views as me on this "touchy" subject. I cant even begin to count the number of times people have wanted to argue with me because of my views, the funny part is I throw scientific facts at them and all they can come up with is some story from a book that says I'm wrong. When are people going to realize that Evolution is FACT......and since that is true it then makes all religion FALSE.

im not trying to stop anyone from following a religion (altho ill be honest if anyone EVER tries to tell me to convert to islam they will be punched squarely in the face).

The idea of public/community organizations existing to serve the purpose of good, brotherhood, love or life are by no means a bad thing. However this is the guise under which many religions operate, and not always the real reasoning behind the organization.

You go to Church on sundays? Fine, by all means; I have no problem with you or your choice to do so (I used to be a registered Minister....thats another story)
You meditate or follow the path to enlightenment? Please, continue, I have no problem with your desire to better yourself as you see it. (reincarnation and similar religious beliefs)
You decide to pray multiple times each day in a particular direction to a god.....well i think its a bit more eccentric BUT its your right and freedom.
Ill even go the other way; the "religion of westernization" ie. insane corporate branding and consumerism "forced" to other countries (a seeming crux for many islamic extremists) is no more right, as its a set of beliefs and Icons inserted into another culture.

I think islams a religion that exists because a large number of practicing countries do not allow other religions; largely emphasized missionary activity and encourages large families for the propogation of the religion. It also preys on the weak...i will probably catch more heat for this comment than any other. The video selectively misses a couple of things: 1. the entire Asian continent was left out.....sooo all those Chinese people don't count in statistics?
2. if "2.1 kids" per family to sustain a culture....then the 8ish per family is more than 4 times the required number....which entirely crosses another line into OVER population. The proposed statistics would exceed the calculated numbers that the earth could support at the rate they cited....
YAY im definately gonna pray everday for more poverty, disease and a lower standard of living!
