I went on the Iran Khodro site today, and I looked at the safety equiment for the new Samand and the Paykan pick up truck.
The safety features for the Samand are:
* Seat belt reel assys RH & LH, front & rear : Colored keyed webbing
* 2 point central lap belt rear : Central location to allow safety restraint when carrying three persons in the rear
* Brake pad wear warning light
* Engine low oil pressure warning light
* Door opening warning light
* Laminated front windscreen
* Stop indicator light
* Seat belt warning light
* ABS test warning light
And for the Paykan:
* Front brake pad wear warning light
* Dipping interior rear view mirror
