Default need some mp3 help
Just bought an album from iTunes, expecting to get .mp3's, but the file format is .m4a.
The stereo in my car won't play .m4a

Can I convert them to mp3 or am I screwed?

I've never bought any music from iTunes for that very reason. I thought they went to a DRM-free standard a while ago, but I don't know how it works.

I buy all my MP3s from Amazon.com. 320kbps and plain ol' .mp3 format.

Fun fact, m4a isn't a fileformat, just what apple thought an audio only mp4 file should be named.
Anyway, it's DRM free you can convert it easy enough with anything that'll convert mp4s.
