Will be used for movies, maybe some gaming later...

I don't really want to spend more than $5-600...

Here's a pic of my setup waiting for a tv (pardon my roomate's clutter...):

I'm assuming most tv's now come standard with the red/white RCA inputs so my sound system will be compatible? And I'm also assuming most will come standard with a hdmi/vga-whatever slot so I can stream movies from my laptop?

Anyways, I haven't had time to keep up with technology and the latest deals, so any input is greatly appreciated!
