I need new Apple iPhones... No contract.
 

My friend in Russia asked me if i can get NEW 3G/3GS/4G iPhones at a discounted price.

Any one know where i can get them? i need 10 phones, of each model.

Ah right, I'm with you. I thought you wanted the new iPhone 4, not the 3GS. You should be able to find them in your budget.

He does. He wants 10 3G, 10 3GS and 10 4G iphones. Maybe the savings you get when buying a cheap 3G will go toward the 4G.

I want all 3 models.. But i have to buy them bulk from wholesaler, which is fine. No one has iphone 4 in Russia at the moment. So they can sell each one for $1,500, and the supplier sells them at $700 each. $450 for 3gs.

The unlocked iPhone 4 sells for £499 in the UK (and substantially more on eBay), I doubt you'd get it cheaper than that. AFAIK all iPhone sold in the States are locked to AT&T.

I had a friend with a iphone on T-Mobile that bought his phone via some shady hole in the wall. Unlocked iphones are sold, but I do not know offhand of a place online.

It doesn't have to be unlocked, because they guys in Russia unlock them before selling them.

Do you really expect to find a product that was recently launched and is in such high demand that it cannot even be purchased at full price without having to wait for less than its full retail price?

Who would sell this to you at any price less than full retail price if he could be guaranteed the full retail price from multitudes of waiting customers, or perhaps even $1500 from Russians with more money than sense? You could offer to buy 10, 100 or 1000 and you shouldn't expect to get a deal because the market could easily consume that many and 100x more at the full price. It's called supply and demand.

You shouldn't have any trouble finding the 3GS in whatever quantity you'd like at a price that's within your limit but the iPhone 4 ain't gonna happen.
