When we had cats i orderd Frontline from a website thats sells pet medication and it is fantastic.
All the other flea treatments just didnt work.
Mostly i had the flea bites around the ankles and shin, the worst when you can feel one crawling over your skin when you in bed, the bites werent painfull just really irritating.

Lots of vacuuming the carpets and furnishing, to get the eggs and any strays, fleabomb or simple surface spray for the carpet and flor corners.
Flea collar and maybe the stuff you can put in their food for the cat?

A vacuum cleaner is the best way to get rid of fleas, as it'll suck up the next generation from the carpet...

Haha. It sounds like you need a better vacuum cleaner as well as some cleaning skills.

What is an "indoor cat"? Since when do people keep cats locked indoors?
