They featured something like this on The Gadget Show a while ago. It was in a feature about amazing new technologies iirc.

It's not that new. Also, I think the gadget show researchers are sometimes a bit behind the times.

How not new is not that new? The feature I saw was quite a while ago (several years). I've been trying to find the feature on YouTube or something but I've had no luck.

Ah, when you said the gadget show I just presumed you meant in the last couple of years.

According to our SM he started using it about 9 years ago and it was quite primitive then compared to the options you have now. He also said that it's been around for about 20 years but not really commercially viable before they started using it.
