Default Don't you hate it when
You are going to do something, but decide do something else first, but by the time you are done doing what you were doing you forget what you were planning to do after you finished doing what you were just doing.

I know I was going to look something up, but now I don't know what. I tried backing up my train of thoughts, but the tracks seem to end at the sign that says "Mmm... Beer..."

Only if I have the recollection of the first thing I planned for was better then the thing I happen to do instead.

Seems to be happening to me sometimes when I'm at a customers house and the customer is talking to me while I'm working on their computer, I suddenly lose my train of thought and have to pretend I'm working for a couple seconds while I'm secretly trying to figure out what the heck I was trying to find in Windows while the customer is talking.

I hate that.

This is pretty much my job, happens to me all the time. Get like 5 different people coming to me to get certain things done on our web site or some random computer problems. Then I have to prioritize and remember what I'm doing. Sooo annoying. Try to write all that down or something, but never seem to

This is a very common problem for people that multi task a lot...
They say multi tasking destroys your concentration and for me it shows
I get thrown off just by a simple 1 min phone call and I blank out for a min (at work).

Edit: On another note, why wouldn't you want it to just start that way and save your self all the time and trouble lol.
try to convince them about all the time they would save by sending you an email or even a txt. seems you could get a lot more done this way then physically telling you and knowing that people forget ****.

Used to have that at work, so I got a whiteboard for people to write their requests up - worked well - to a point!
