Default Newegg is taking quite a while to process my order...
I ordered a bunch of stuff and payed the 2.99 to have it rushed ... YESTERDAY. As of right now (5:57pm 12/15) the order still says "charged". Should I call newegg tomorrow and complain or wait and see what happens tomorrow?
The reason I'm worried is I'm supposed to have this PC built and ready to go by next monday.

When you paid for rush ordering did you meet the required criteria?

Rush Order Processing Info Newegg.com will rush process your order for an additional fee provided that the following conditions are met:
  • Order is submitted by 12 noon PST.
  • Your transaction and credit card authorization is completed before 12:30pm PST.
  • Your shipping address matches your credit card billing address (i.e. no alternate ship-to address).
  • Your order will not be paid for using a check or money order.
Rush processing will only speed up processing time. It does not upgrade your shipping method. (eg. FedEx saver will still take 3-4 working days to arrive). http://www.newegg.com/Info/FAQOrderInfo.aspx

While you have the chance, call them to change your OS and GFX while you still can [yes]

Is the shipping addy the same as the billing addy on the card, or is it at least listed on the card?

My last order with Newegg was a few weeks ago, and I will avoid ordering from them again soon unless they have something nobody else carries at that price (which was the only reason I ordered my mobo from them). They held the order for various reasons and didn't call me to clarify it, both times I had to contact them to find out what the hold-up was. Then I had to badger them into shipping it next day for free (I figured since they held up the order a total of an additional 3 days, they would be glad to do that for me, but I had to get forwarded to a service manager and apply some heat before they agreed to do it). They must be busier than heck, understaffed, etc.

My TigerDirect order that was placed on the same day as my Newegg order shipped with no problems or billing questions, entered exactly the same way with the same darned credit card. Go figure...

Man that sucks...I ordered a few things from Newegg on Monday morning and they shipped it out Monday evening. My only gripe here was that it didn't get shipped out of their New Jersey warehouse, because I get those shipments next day using Ground

I did that rush delivery thing once. What a waste. Actually ended up taking them longer to processes the order than it usually does.
I would not be surprised if things take longer. It is the season, more orders being placed, more work for the employees to handle in a given shift.

Just sucks that I have to stay away from newegg as much as possible now. I have to pay 7.25% sales tax. [thumbdown]

Good thing though, is that I get my stuff the next day if I place the order soon enough in the morning. Quiet nice it can be.

You'll probably end up RMA'ing the RAM too. Not sure if you saw my post in your other thread, but the reviews on that RAM are terrible. My friend ordered a set a few weeks ago and both sticks were crap. [thumbdown]
